The Department
of Literature's new MFA Program in Writing, launched in 2009, is
one of the Top 25 Underrated Creative Writing MFA Programs

Huffington Post, October 8, 2010]. Our program’s
burgeoning reputation as one of the few open to both experimental
poetry and fiction is reflected in spectacular 40% annual increases
in admission applications. With only a handful of spaces available
for the 2011 program—and 171 applicants—selecting candidates is
going to be a daunting and exciting process.
