The 2010 Pulitzer Prize in Poetry has been awarded to Rae Armantrout “For a distinguished volume of original verse by an American author.... a book striking for its wit and linguistic inventiveness, offering poems that are often little thought-bombs detonating in the mind long after the first reading” (Pulitzer).
The Literature Department wishes to congratulate Rae for this wonderful and very deserved accomplishment, that makes us all extremely proud and honored. |
